Beginners Bronze Package

This mini course package is ideal for anyone who is a beginner.

You will complete the Holistic and Beauty Essentials Course plus 1 accredited treatment course of your choice from

• Indian head massage

• Zonal foot massage (reflexology)

• Manicure with the option to add on gel polish
• Pedicure with the option to add on gel polish
• Body Wraps

*Body Wraps, Reiki or Indian head massage options - the practical training cannot be done online, only face to face. For the other courses, the practical training can be done online or in person at my venue in central Stockport, SK1

• All courses are professional, accedited courses that will enable you to practice on the general public
• All courses include home study, theory, assessments and practical training

• The practical training day is booked as soon as you have paid for your course, for a mutually convenient date. Models are provided for you. You then have 12 months to complete your home study.

If you are a beginner, the Holistic and Beauty Essentials course is the starting point as this home-study course is a vital foundation for your holistic and beauty business or career. 

Many fast track holistic and beauty courses only equip beginners with the knowledge and skills to perform treatments and skim over the surface of health and safety and business legislation. This leaves newly qualified holistic and beauty therapiests unaware of their legal obligations and they are unwittingly legally vulnerable.

This course will equip you the essential legal knowledge and core therapist skills to start your business as a Holistic and Beauty Therapist. 

This course is not for therapists who are already trained and experienced in any other holistic or beauty therapies unless it was a long time ago and you would like to do this course as a refresher.

1) Your treatment training course - includes home study and assessment plus 1 day practical training either in person or online (*with the exception of body wraps and Indian head massage which must be done in person),  

• The practical training day is booked as soon as you have paid for your course, for a mutually convenient date. Models are provided for you. You then have 12 months to complete your home study.

2) Holistic and Beauty Essentials Course - This part of your mini course package is a home-study course and includes an in-depth manual and 1 written assessment

Business Legislation for Therapists

• Working with children under the age of 16 and vulnerable adults

• Consumer Contracts legislation - for example if you have a website and sell online

• Basic Employment Laws
• Basic information on how to register as self-employed, as a sole trader, partnership or limited company

As you can see, there is much more to being a Holistic or Beauty Therapist than just performing treatments!  However, don't be put off as once you are aware of the law, have your procedures and systems in place, you can focus on learning about the gorgeous treatments that you would like to learn and offer to your clients.

• The Home Study is done via Google Drive, a Google account is required to access the material
• All course material is provided in a variety of formats, written and audio.
